Wondering if this is persistent urethritis, STD, or what?

Hello, I hope I can get help from a professional or someone with solid advice. I received a BJ from a strange male in December, afterwards I washed with soap and water and urinated. A day or two later (soon I know, maybe the soap) I started with irritation and burning in urethra, mostly near tip. I tried to be patient, hoping between the soap and my mind it would go away....no such luck! A few weeks went by and I went to urgent care who did not do testing and just gave me 10 days Bactrim DS. After taking this for a week I still had burning and irritation near penis tip, irritated glans, and bladder soreness with frequency. Did I mention no discharge at all at any point!!! So at this point I go to free clinic, performed swab test....ouch. They did some kind of on the spot test from swab, negative for gonorrhea, said I would hear back if anything from culture, never did, no meds were given. Few more weeks go by, still in pain, wake up with bladder pain, pain in urethra every morning, off and on burning/stinging in urethra though out the day especially after urination. Consult local doctor he prescribes 2 weeks doxycycline 2x per day....minimal if any improvement. Go back to local doctor he checks prostate says it's normal, gives me 1 gram azithromycin, I took this 500mg first day then 250mg the following two days due to what I have read about long term azithromycin (typically 5 days) being better than single dose for mycoplasma genitalium, I'm just reaching in the dark now....minimal to no improvement. A few weeks later I realized I had about 1.25 gram of metronidazole, so I took that as single dose in case anything anaerobic. Thought it might have helped a bit but nope, a week later back to the same. Seems to hurt worse when I sit and pressure is on my bladder which makes it hurt and makes pain in penis worse, also burns more during peeing while pooping. Also, the person I was with stated they got tested and clean, don't know whether to trust this. So,

1. I'm trying to figure out what it might be, gonorrhea, mycoplasma genitalium, trich, or?
2. If gonorrhea, did maybe the test get thrown off by the bactrim or maybe it's not so accurate if no discharge?
3. When can I confidently have sex with someone else without feeling like I am endangering them?
4. Did I catch something that maybe isn't tested for such as m. genitalium or something else and if so what I have taken should have cured it?
5. Why do I still have pain?

p.s. No insurance right now.

Gono is a urethra infection and would not cause discharge  in the begining but once the bacteria takes hold  it eats at the tissues  and once the pain  and disconfort show up a white puss discharge will follow. The irritation is from tissue damage and a sign of tissue damage is a puss discharge.

It could spread to the testicals

Interesting thoughts Dave thanks. I also meant to mention I have not been squeezing or inspecting it so that's not it. Any other ideas what it could be?

Hi.
1. from what you describe i dont feel any of these are causing the tip irriation.
2. with gono it would not be at the tip but in the middle and you would also have a big time white puss discharge so you can rule that out.
3. if all your tests came back negattive the you dont have anything to pass to someone.
4. with all the meds you took would have cured them
5. If you have an irritaion at the tip its either from your constant pulling and checking or there was an injury from the act itself that is not healing. Between the soap burn and pulling maybe the injury is not healing.

Hi Dave thanks so much for your comments.... Really appreciated. I would like to give more detail and see if you have any additional advice. When I say tip I mean within the first few inches...It is further down the penis not only the opening. Also I'm not sure any of the antibiotics I took work well on gonorrhea. I also read that it can occur without discharge.... Like 17℅ of the time. What do you think now?
I should also add I'm having some pain in testicles at times. Thanks!!
