chlamydia or gonorrhea ?

Developed a cough n sore throat days after performing cunninglus.  Went to urgent care got a shot n antibiotics pills. Weeks has past. But i still have a mild cough for the past couple few months. Got in touch with the female n told her about it. She went n got checked n she said they told her she has chlamydia. I recently got tested for chlamydia, gonorrhea, n HIV all negative but still the cough is there.
My question is can chlamydia or gonorrhea cause scaring in the throat to make me continue to cough? Or is it some form of STD that causes throat problems?

Very hard to catch and a cough is not a sign of a STD.

What about chlamydia. Will it be hard to catch that as well?

For anatomical reasons oral gonorrhea is hard to catch when performing cunnilingus on a woman. If you gave a guy a bj then the story would be diffrent.  And cough is not a sign of throat infection. If you had symptoms of sore throat or tonsilitis. Then maybe, cunnilingus is a safe sex activity and low risk for anything even assuming your partner has a std.
