fellatio STD risk

Hi all. My friend (male) is anxious because he had an occasional partner (male too) 2 days ago, they just kissed and performed oral sex to each others for a couple of minutes he said, no contact with ejaculation. He says he did not notice any wart or anomaly on his partner's penis so I told him there are no risks for hiv and as far as STD, like gonorrhea , GNU or syphilis there was not a very big risk as well, am I correct? Thank you. Also told him he should get tested though if some symptoms appear.

He went to the doctor because he had a sore throat today and was scared. Received a shot of 1g ceftriaxone and the doctor told him he should be ok. Thats weird no tests? I guess they see this often....

Yes your information was correct. But he should get tested if he will have other sexual partners for their protection also test for herpes.
