itchy sometimes burning penis/sore testicles

Had unprotected sex and have been very worried for about 6 weeks now. my symptoms seem to come and go and when i am thinking about them they are more intense. No discharge from penis but infrequent pain and itching. I went to walk in clinic and was checked for urinary tract infection and was negative. Doc asked about my sypmtoms and he believed i was just worrying to much and causing the symptoms from stress. Can this be anxiety related and should I get testing for STD's.....any insight would be great.

Thanks

You should go get checked for STD's to ease your anxiety and learn a big lesson here! Bring the condoms, everytime!
