Syphilis risk and blood test results?

Last week I had indirect vaginal fluid exposure to my mouth. (licked a girls finger) I've already posted on the HIV board so I realize there is no risk there, but they referred me here with regards to oral gonorrhea and syphilis.

I got tested 4 days after the exposure. The blood test result for syphilis was negative and I'll receive the tests for gonorrhea tomorrow.

My question is, assuming the girl actually had syphilis, does the risk decrease by indirect oral exposure and would it show up in the blood test after 4 days?

Thanks, I'm not sure why my doctor is recommending I get tested then. I guess oral Gonorrhea is really the only thing I need to be concerned with then? I'll get my throat swab results back tomorrow.
