naked frottage, anal fingering, brief oral, and painless groin swollen node

Three weeks ago I had a causal encounter with a 40 year old woman that I met in bar as follows:

1) Naked frontage for almost 30 min. ( clearly might have touched her genitals)
2) I have fingered her for about 10-15 min.
3) She uses her figure to stimulate me anally for about 10 min as well; was painful so she stops
4) She briefly few times put my penis in her mouth to make it wet ... sometime keep it there for while

On the three week of the encounter, i suddenly saw a lump size of swollen node in my upper left groin. I have an itch in my skin; but it might be my pollen allergy. But I am frek'n out now that i saw the node. I don't have any sign on my penis (at least not yet). What are my risk? (Gonorrhea, Syphilis, Chlamydiae, HIV or other STDs?!?) Kindly comment.

I got the test results today: Negative for Syphilis, Chlamydia, and Gonorrhea. I did the test on day 27 after the exposure. My GP was very much reluctant even to test for any of these saying that I had hardly STD exposure from this experience. But to my surprise, he didn't gave me NGU test, which I thought he did. I get my result using my portal ID; so couldn't have the chance to ask.

Can you kindly comment on the following questions:

1. Should I ask for an NGU test? Could they picked up NGU infection if I have it while testing for chlamydia/gonorrhea? (I had a urine sample for these and blood for syphilis)
2. Is my syphilis result too early to be conclusive given my exposure?

All the best,

Did they say anything about a urine analysis or white blood cells in your urine? If they mention no white blood cells in your urine, then you don't have NGU.

Your syphilis test is too early to be conclusive, but if you are in the US, UK, Canada and other developed countries, chances of her having syphilis are really low. It's just not that common.
Thanks Auntiejessi for your replies =)

Not really. I didn't have the chance to ask as the result is sent via my medical portal. I am from Sweden, btw. You can easily login to your medical page; and such results can be read. My GP told me that if any of this turns out to be positive, I would give you a call. So, really no idea about the white blood cell. One of my concern is that I vividly remember the woman i had the encounter with told me that she stayed most of the past month working in East Africa. Though, she is from Sweden, i don't know how that far stay comes into picture.

As for syphilis, i know i should wait at least 6 weeks to have a conclusive result. But GIVEN my exposure, i wonder i need more testing.

Thanks again!
Well, given that we have no idea if she had any encounters in East Africa, that doesn't alarm me, really.

Can you call your doctor and see if they tested for NGU (also called NSU) or looked for white blood cells?
Fair enough; I thought the same way; there is no way to judge her in anyway. As for NGU(NSU), I will try to talk to him about it tomorrow. The tricky part is of course, I might not get NGU(NSU) from this episode even if it turns out to be positive.

As for the syphilis case, I still don't know what to do about it at this point. I don't think my GP will order another one, unless I go to another clinic who are just about STI/STD and ask for another full STD panel screen at 3 month mark.
Right - if you've had other encounters besides the one with her, you could have gotten NGU from them. It can happen with anyone, since normal mouth bacteria can cause it.

If you feel like you need more testing at 3 months, then go to a clinic and test if your doc won't do it. You probably don't, but I understand doing it for peace of mind.
I finally got hold of my GP after his Easter vacation. He said no protein or white cell in my urine sample. I would assume that means no NGU as well?!?!

Now the dilemma I have and want to have a final comment on is if I need to test Trich,  Molluscum, and HPV?  I have no symptom so far; about 5 + weeks now. And finally, if I need to re-test my Syphilis. Thank you!
Yes, that means no NGU.

Testing for trich in men is hard, but if you don't get symptoms, I wouldn't worry about that. It's not that common.

There are no tests for molluscum, and no tests for HPV for men. Molluscum can take up to 6 months to show up, but usually does around 2-3 months. You can get this at the gym, by sharing clothes or towels, too.

HPV is considered an inevitability of being sexually active today. Most experts believe that upwards of 90% of people will have it at least once in their lifetime. There is a vaccine available for the most common strains. Talk to your doctor about it.

I wouldn't worry about syphilis, but if you feel the need to retest, then you can do that at 6 weeks. Most people will develop antibodies by then.

Thanks auntiejessi...I hope you know how much you've been very helpful =)
Thanks :) I'm glad it's helped!

Are you sure this is a node and not something else? You should definitely get that checked as if it is, it could indicate lots of things, not just STDs.

If she gave you oral, there is a chance you could get NGU and gonorrhea. The briefer it was, the less of the chance.

In theory, you could also get genital herpes type 1 and syphilis, but those are less common, and unless she had a sore, I wouldn't worry too much (and again, the briefer the oral was, the less of a chance).

You say your genitals "might" have touched hers - or at least that is what I think you meant. If that's the case, you could be at risk for syphilis, herpes type 2, and maybe chlamydia or gonorrhea, but without penetration, those last two would be really doubtful.

There is no risk from hands.

No HIV risk at all without penetration.

Thanks Auntiejessi!

It is definitely a node. I had checked it today with a GP; and he said it doesn't look 'dangerous'. He asked me if it is painful, as he checked it, which was not. I am not satisfied with his assessment; and planning to see another doctor bk home in the coming week.

In the mean time, i am also planning to take a Gonorrhea, Syphilis, and Chlamydia test. (There was NO penetration at any point, expect the brief oral, btw).

Is there any other test i should consider? I am meeting my girlfriend tomorrow after few weeks away...should I be worried about this and holding off intimacy?
I would like one more info on this ... if I get syphilis chancres, based on my exposure, is there any chance that it can also occur inside my anus (rectum)?
If all you had was brief oral, then you just need to test for gonorrhea and NGU (usually done with the same urine test). They may test for chlamydia, since that's often done at the same time, but you aren't at risk for that from receiving oral.

If you got syphilis from this, chances are that the sore would be on your penis, not in your anus. Syphilis isn't as common as gonorrhea or NGU, though, so with such brief contact, I wouldn't worry about that too much. It won't hurt to test, but testing would be for peace of mind.

I missed your meeting with your gf. I think you'd be okay to have sex with her, since the contact was so brief, and I'd be surprised if it resulted in transmission. That's up to you, though.
