negative test results but sore throat persists

I had a full set of sti tests 2 months ago. All negative including HIV, Chlaymydia, Gonohrea etc. Etc via blood and urine tests. Following unprotected oral sex received from a sex worker. I stated at the time of testing that I had a sore throat but not swabbed. Now 2 months later I'm still having sore throats and my regular partner had a sore throat (but now gone). I'm worried that the sore throat is gonohrea related and I'm also worried that there maybe a drip from my penis after urinatioin (no pain or frequency) I'm sick with worry on these issues. What's the percentage chance of a false negative on gonoihrea testing (via urine sample) ?

So I've started to notice a clear discharge after urination occasionaly? How can this be after negative tests. Regular partner has no symptoms and this other oral only contact is going back 8 months with testing 2 months ago all negative. Surely my regular partner would have symptoms by now. I'm going insane with worry and can't talk to anyome . .. I've spoken with  clinic and the best they could offer was to retest.

I suppose my theory bothering me is this

Could I have acquired Gonohrea in my penis through oral received subsequently infected my regular partner who has then remained asymptomatic (aside from one incidence of sorethroat) and that the urine test results were a false negative?

Is that all too unlikely? Should I get tested again?

Hello kinda in same boat received oral but a guy it's been 150 days and the head of my penis has a sticky type discharge on it all the time even after I clean it and check it hours later sticky again not sure what this ? After I pee I have drips so not sure if pee can leave a sticky discharge on head penis . I have not seen any forem on here of anybody with that problem so scared and alone my wife not showing any symptoms and we been having sex the whole time

The news is good. There is no way you have any STD explaining your sore throat.

Assuming "oral sex received" means oral contact with your penis (and not cunnilingus by you on her), there is now way you could be infected in the throat. STDs don't travel through the body to unexposed sites. And even if you performed oral sex on her, there was little if any risk of oral STDs, which are rarely acquired by cunnilingus (oral-vaginal contact). And any other STD that conceivably could do this (e.g. herpes) would never cause a sore throat lasting this long.

Equally important, chlamydia rarely infects the oral cavity at all, and although gonorrhea can do so, almost all cases are entirely without symptoms -- no sore throat, no inflamed lymph nodes, nothing.

Urine testing cannot detect oral gonorrhea or chlamydia, so that part of your story makes no difference. In other words, there is a 100% chance of negative results on urine, even if the oral cavity is infected.

All things considered, there is simply no chance your sore throat is due to any STD. If it continues, consider seeing a doctor about it, perhaps preferably an ENT specialist. But do your best to move on with no worries about STD.
