sex worker...

new incident...i received fellatio for a long time by a sex worker maybe it was 20-30 min... i ejaculated in her mouth.... i am not so worried as i read that the only condern my be ngu and gonnorea and the symptoms should be obvious
and so far from what i read from the doctors syphilis and herpes is a very tiny chance and if there is not a obvious lesion its unlikely...clamidia is a no from oral..... so do i have it right....is it wise to get a check up  since i will be ingaging in intercourse with a girl i met..... and if so when and what sould i check or is it a waste of time and money... and i should just forget it and go on with my sexual life......thx

Because it is a low risk activity. Even if the person has an oral STD the risk is still small to pass it and most people don't have an oral STD.

Testing times:
Gonorrhea, NGU, chlamydia-1 week
Syphilis-6 weeks
HIV-3 months
Herpes-3-4 months

But I see no reason for testing and if you do test no reason to test for everything.

thanx grace.... why you do not recomment testing from oral? is it because the odds are that the exposure did not lead to infection, or just because its one isolated incident......
should i wait for 3 months before i get tested if i want too for all stds? thax guys....

really we don't recommend testing from oral unless you have symptoms.  if you learn nothing else though from your various posts on this forum - learn that it's in your best interest to only have protected sexual contact with people who's std status you aren't aware of. A couple bucks for a condom is far cheaper than 3 months of worry and hundreds of dollars spent on doctor's visits and testing!

I would not worry too much about the activities. Yes gonorrhea and NGU are the primary concerns and you most likely would have discharge.

If you have not been tested for STD's in the past or in the past 6 months to 1 year then I would test for everything, just to know that you do not have anything.
