spreading herpes?!.. unintentionally.

i have herpes. i used a douche about a week ago. i refilled it with water and set it back down in the shower. my roommate unknowingly used the same one because she thought it was new. im scared for her. please someone help me. what are the chances that she'll contract it? when i used it i did not have an outbreak at the time. would the virus be dead before she used it????

No need to be rude dac142.  We try very hard to keep herpes and hpv related questions on the appropriate forums instead of on the general std forums. It really is so that you get the best information possible - no one is trying to be difficult.

Your question has now been answered on the herpes forum.  any continued follow up should be there - thank you :)

umm i know that since technology seperates people, my questions may have seemed cold but they werent meant to be. in my personal opinion, if you dont like what i say, you can go ahead and click that red X in the upper right hand corner of your screen. now that was meant to be rude. : )

You have a herpes question, this website has a specific area set up for herpes questions. If you see at the top of this page it says, "For questions and support for Herpes, please visit our Herpes Community." If you want the right info on herpes post in that area. I am just trying to help you get the best info possible.

No he doesn't control the site but he is trying to help you get the best info on herpes and that would be in the herpes forum... so if that is what you want then maybe you should go to the herpes forum and not be so rude to those who are trying to help you.
and douching isn't good for you or any woman.
