Doxycycline dosage for suspected Gonorrhea and Chlamydia - Skipped 4 pills

Hi,

I was involved in Giving oral sex sometimes back and I had slight pain in my right testes..My doctor prescribed Doxycycline dosage 100mg twice a day for 14 days. during the course of medication I skipped one pill one day and 3 pills during some other days. Does this affect the efficacy of the medicine since i missed 4 pills totally(2 days) . But i started skipping the before said pills after 11 days of continuous medication. Please let me know if I have to take the course again. I have not informed my Doctor yet. Please throw some light on my concern.

The odds you contracted any std from oral sex is close to zero and any discomfort would be in your penis not your testicle.

After two three days i had slight pain in my right testicle..then I consulted doctor..he gave me the Doxycyline prescription as i mentioned in my first post..during the course i missed nearly 4 pills (explained how in my first post)
