yeast infection or std?

After I had my daughter a little over a year ago, now when I have a period I get blister on the hood of my vagina and sometimes on the inside of the lips of my vagina but these ones look like canker sores. I wasn't sexually active my whole pregnancy not until my daughter was about 6 months old and it was with the same partner. I've been tested for genital herpes and the test came back negative but it never fails my period comes around I have a brake out if its not herpes could my cycle be causing me to have a yeast infection?  I never had this problem until I had my daughter I know after having a baby your body changes but could my hormones have changes so much to the point I have these kind of brake outs?

what testing for herpes have you had done so far?

are you seen every time you have symptoms and did they do any testing for yeast and bacterial infections vaginally?

do the symptoms occur before your period or after your period has started and you've been using feminine protection products?

Hi jlabg,

To really find out about your symptoms causes, you will need to see a doctor to evaluate your condition.
It's too difficult to discuss symptoms online.
One suggestion though, see a doctor when you have break outs.

Thanks.
