Hello Dr. I have a few questions I would like to ask and have clarified for me as I have been very worried about stds recently. I will briefly explain my testing history and potential exposures.
The last time I had a full std check was in mid feb which was negative for all common stds (gonorrhoea, chlyamdia, syphilis, HIV) although I wasn't not tested for herpes or hep I did have a negative herpes and hep results in early october a few months prior.
1. Since my tests I have engaged in numerous unprotected oral exposures (me receiving/being sucked) with many different partners of unknown status.
2. I have had protected anal intercourse once since with no condom failure to my knowledge, and many protected vaginal intercourse but with the same partner so not worried about that one.
3. I have been the recipient of rimming many times, and have performed rimming before a few times but long time ago over a year months before my previous tests? Is this a risk for HPV which has me worried recently?
4. What std risks do I have from exposures and is the risk large? My last unprotected oral encounter was 2 weeks ago, and prior to that all encounters 1 month ago. When should I go to get tested? I might add I have no painful urination and discharge from penis. Do I have a real risk of hsv2, hep b/c, hiv? What about HPV from unprotected oral and being rimmed? I feel that i may have a wart under my scrotum.
Also I have only had protected intercourse in my life, encounters being all vaginal with anal like 5 times in total (only once since my last test).
Finally, is the oraquick hometest reliable? How accurate would it be 4-6 weeks after last exposure? I did a oraquick test in June which was negative if reliable would mean I would literally be at risk from only a couple of encounters if oral sex is even a risk as I have read its extremely low, and protected intercourse is not a risk. Sorry for long question Sir hope to hear your response soon.
