Does a new positive test for Ureaplasma indicate infidelity?

I had a swab in March which was negative for Ureaplasma. Then this week have been told I've just tested positive. Does this mean I have become infected since March. And therefore does this mean my husband of 10 years has infected me - suggesting infidelity? Or could the bacteria have been present but undetectable by a swab test even in march?

Hi, no it does not. These are bacterias that can be found in the lungs and urethras and are not considered STD,s as can be found in normal healthy individuals.

Thanks for your response. I can understand if a first test is positive that it could be a very long standing asymptomatic infection but does not the fact that I tested negative 7 months ago but now positive with a vaginal swab suggest a recent sexually transmitted infection?
