Std/ hiv test need or not

Dear Team

I m having high fever for last 3 days i had sex with with a sex worker for past 1 to 2  months. I have done sex by using full protection... beacuse of high fever i visited the doctor. They have taken blood test my lymph percentage is slight low  abd my c reactive protein is too much high than the parameter 6.9 parameter less than 5.0. Is this the symptoms of hiv or any other std..  Do i need to take std or hiv test.

Protected sex is not going to result in an HIV infection.

In direct answer your symptoms are not suggestive of any STI, conceivably it could be but fever and the none specific blood test results could be from many many different virus - all of which are more likely than an STI in your situation.

Rest up, drink fluids and see how it goes.

Everyone who is sexually active no matter how safe the sex has been should have regular testing for the common STI. At least yearly, I don’t see any reason to rush out and test. But if you haven’t had a test recently - while it’s on your mind it may be worth doing your annual check up. I expect them to be negative.

Do you have covid?

No STD would give you these symptoms. Continue to work with your doctor to find out the cause of your symptoms.
