Is the antibiotic ciprofloxacin effective to treat chlamydia? If so, what dosage? Thanks
It is but in higher dosesthere research that incorrect cipro dosage can induce persistence, so do not medicate yourself, but go to an urologist

Totally agree. You shouldn't ever self-treat for an STD, since so many of them have similar symptoms, but really different treatments. Chlamydia has more effective treatments than cipro, and they have far fewer side effects.
