Passing an STD on to a child

So I have had many fears lately as to weather or not I could have gotten an STD, as well as am thinking about practicing oral sex on my boyfriend, but I want to be positive of this answer first. I know for a fact my boyfriend has never had sexual relations with anyone but me in his life, however there is still a fear in me that his mom could have passed something to him if she had an STD when pregnant. At 16 years old, would he know by now if he had gotten an STD from her? Thanks so much

What about things like gono and chlamydia upon breast feeding? Can't it be spread that way?

Hi, first of all in most countries pregnant women are tested for all std,s including herpes. and if he was born with syphilis or herpes he would have been very sick at birth and possibly died. Things like Gono and chlamydia are not passed during the birth canal and are not blood born. Your question really has no merit.
