Please don't try to self-treat for this. It's the wrong antibiotic, and if you treat yourself, you will end up needing to go to the doctor anyway, and taking antibiotics you didn't need and screwing up testing because you need to be off antibiotics for 3 weeks before testing.

Why do you think you have chlamydia?

the doctor had prescribed clamithromcin to me for a skin infection I was 4 days into the course and stopped taking them was just wondering if this would have helped or would have stopped me from passing chylamdia on to anyone else I have since been tested and waiting my results
No, it wouldn't have. How long after you stopped taking it (and stopping your meds is never a good idea unless you were told to do so by your doctor) did you test? You may have a false negative on your chlamydia test.
