Possible STD from Handjob?

On Dec. 1 of 2021 I visited a Full Body Sensual Massage. I received a full body massage that was followed with a handjob to completion. The provider also performed a prostate massage with a gloved hand.

There was NO penetrative intercourses and NO oral performed.

About 10 days post I developed a painful bump between the base of the penis and groin that grew. It seemed as though there were two next to each other. These were popped multiple times by myself and when popped there was puss like from a pimple. I should note that I had shaved the area with a razor the day of the encounter.

After roughly 30 days the bump is completely gone.

I am most worried about Syphillis. Does this activity pose high risk or any risk of syphillis?

Thanks in advance as my anxiety is very high. I am in a committed relationship.

Annie is correct - there is no risk here.

I just want to add that popping these bumps can cause infection, and if you need to get them tested, draining them of the fluids makes it harder.

A syphilis sore is a round, painless sore, not a fluid filled bump.

We were just talking about a similar situation with another guy, and I gave him a link to an earlier post written on MedHelp by a doctor. It's a good explanation.
