Rash on inner thigh

Hi, I am a little nervous but I am trying to be reasonable. I want to say maybe 3 weeks+ ago (maybe more) I started noticing I was having an unusually itchy anus and also some almost chafing on the underside of my scrotum going towards my taint and also between my inner thighs on my left and right side around where my inner thigh connects with my scrotum. It doesn't seem that the reddish, slightly raised bumps are actually on my scrotum or anywhere near my penis. I am wondering if this is Jock itch or herpes. It doesn;t seem like they are sores, they feel more like as if I scratched or rubbed an area too much and is more of a stinging sensation when I put lotion on the area. It doesn't really hurt until I touch it and I wouldn't consider it very itchy except sometimes (although I think everyone gets itchy around the area sometimes) so I really am not sure. I am a bit of a hypochondriac so I tend to worry more than I should about everything. I have worried mahny times for things that were normal.

On a side note I have also not had any sexual encounter since about the end of January and both were only unprotected oral sex with friends I trust. I had an experience with a Prostitute but that was in june of 2014 and it was oral sex with a condom. I have not had sex with anyone since then and the only person I had sex with before the prostitute incident was my gf of 1 year. I posted on another site and the people told me my chances of acquiring anything from that were virtually 0 and I never showed symptoms. I guess I just want to now what people think based on what I said. Like I said, it doesn't seem to be sores or blisters, it's just like a pinkish rash with some raised bumps. They don't seem to be breaking open and I put lotion on it to no avail. But I tried a strong diaper rash cream about an hour or so ago and at first it stung applying it, then I showered and washed it off and it seems like it feels a little better and doesn't sting as much when i touch it. Either way, thank you! Please help and try and ease my mind. If it it something like jock itch let me know, if it is not and you think I should get checked let me know. I don't know why I would get herpes with very limited sexual contact, but my mind doesn't let me think logically.

You would need to see a Dr because skin issue can be so many different things.

Could be nothing, or something minor like scabies.
