Red bumps

I am a 23 yr old guy. I have noticed a few red spots/bumps on my penis. It has been there for almost 2 months. I  haven't had the chance to go to a doctor. It does not itch or painful. At first it does itch. But only for a few days. Now it does not itch. I am just concerned if it is anything serious. I noticed it after masturbation. I did once a day. Last time I had sex was on December last year. The red spots appears all over the head and a few on the skin below the head. Is this serious?

One common misconception about this is you can only contract herpes when someone has an outbreak.  However, you can still contract herpes from someone who has the virus and does not have a breakout when you are having unprotected sex with them.* It lives in the cell membranes of the body.  THis is what I learned in my Human Sexuality Class at James Madison University

Please do not get offended by this comment. You could have Herpes I or II complex.  Often the red bumps appear most clustered around the head of the penis and do not itch/hurt.  One common misconception about this is you can still contract herpes from someone who has the virus and does not have a breakout when you are having unprotected sex with me.  It lives in the cell membranes of the body.  One can get an outbreak months to years after contracting the virus.  The biggest problem is there is no blood test for Herpes one can only be treated if they have an outbreak.  So the virus is easily passed around unknowingly.  If I were you next time I breakout in this rash I'd go to your local health provider or gynecologist.  It can easily be treated with proper care.  I also could be wrong.

Hi, Most topical irritations are fungal related. Red dots are not a symptom of any std.
