Risk of exposure to STD

I'm a male who was getting a massage a couple of weeks ago and the masseur midway through the massage started to lick my anus. It only lasted a couple of seconds and I immediately told him to stop (surprised to say the least, not an establishment I would have expected it in). There was no penetration, either by finger or his tongue. Should I get tested for gonorrhea/chlamydia to be safe? Hard to land on a general consensus from what I've been reading online.

Thanks

Very informative! I'm not too worried,  the contact was literally for 2 seconds before I said "WTF". I'll just get tested when I do my annual physical.

Thanks again

That’s exactly what I would do. There really is little risk if any here at all. Well done for been so level headed on the whole thing.

Hi,

Firstly, I don't see any real reason to panic. I cant say the risk was zero, but it is very close to it. Maybe its best if i explain in order to help you understand why i think this.

Anallingus  (licking of anus) is very low risk, at least for the receiver (it can be risky to give due to the risk of nasty stomach bugs)

The receiver has a very low risk of Syphilis, Herpes and perhaps Gonorrhea. I expect the very brief nature of this act is working in your favor.

Also - most people even "high risk" don't have a transmittable STI at any moment, even less so in the oral cavity.

Other than that its hard to say really. The only one id be the least bit worried about is Syphillis (the risk is minute but its the only one that will cause you any issues if you are unlucky( but depending on where you are and your partner (male of female) is exceptionally rare. You could also look for symptoms (not too hard) a 1cm wide sore around the anus in you case would be the first sign of Syphilis this would come around 3 week after contact.

Sorry for over explaining, please dont read too much into it and read my opening line. This was close to zero in terms of risk. I would not worry, not test and just move on. I just wanted to make sure you had all the information needed.

Apologies re-read "I immediately told him to stop"  the massuse was a male.

It makes Syphilis slightly more likely - as its more widespread in male sex male. but id still put you chances of acquiring syphilis no more than one in several thousand. Brief contact, No noticeable sores on your partner, No penetration.
