About a week ago I had protected vaginal sex with a woman I barely know and I also preformed brief oral sex on her as I bare in mind that oral Sex is a no risk activity for HIV transmission , however 2 days later I began having pretty high fever and a stabbing pain in the left side of my throat I initially shook it of as a cold ant took some antibacterial candy that did not help the pain much although the fever subsided and did not return.
Today as I was still in pain I consulted a doctor and he told me that it looked to be like tonsillitis and a bit of faringitis
but I freaked out when he wanted to preform an endoscopy because he said my lymph nodes seamed enlarged and he "did not look like a comon infection" as scared as I was I did not preform the procedure cause at the moment I did not go with enough money to do so....
I might add I also have bleeding gums ..................given this background my following question is:
1) could i have contracted genital herpes preforming oral sex and be suffering an outbreak 2 days later in my throat that I am confusing for a cold?
2) under any circumstances can ARS symptoms of HIV present themselve so soon? 2 days after possible exposure
what should i do?? please help me
