Genitals near her genital area, but not inside

I was in a dark room, and the woman I was with grabbed my penis, and put it near her vagina.  However my penis did NOT go inside her vagina.  So it was in the area, but not inside.  I was urine tested, then later told I tested negative for HIV, chlamydia, and gonorrhea.   It has been a year, and still no symptoms.  Could I still have an STD?  Or can we say, I do not have an STD?  Which one is it?  Is it safe for me to have sex with people, or am I dangerous?

This appears to refer to the same event you asked about a couple of months ago, although you described oral exposure at that time.  In any case, the sort of contact described here could not have resulted in any STD.  As for having sex with other people, there definitely is no risk to them on account of this exposure or the oral sex event discussed previously.

Here is a recent thread that explains why such exposures carry little or no STD risk.  Start reading with the December 14 follow-up comment:  http://www.medhelp.org/posts/show/1119533
