Help understanding hsv1 and hsv2 results

Hi Doctors, I recently had a Igg herpes test done, and the results came back as equivocal .90
Could you please explain this to me? Is there any further testing needed? It has been almost 2.5 months since the encounter that made me nervous.

Thank You!

Having looked ahead to your follow- up comment below:  completely negative.  You don't have HSV-2.  The large majority on new infections result in positive antibody test within 2.5 months, so all is well.

I hope this helps.  Best wishes--  HHH, MD

Actually I just read it again and it says < .90 Am I to assume that it is negative then?
