Did you read my reply above? About the microwave?
Trich is impossible in this situation, regardless of moisture or microwave. You could drip trich infected vaginal discharge into your own underwear, then wear it around for a week; you'd never catch it.
Your concerns about this are quite irrational. And in response to the last question: whenever someone suspects his or her own symptoms have a psychological origin, usually he is correct.
That will be all for this thread. Disregard any other "what if" scenarios that may come to mind. There is nothing you can add that would change my opinion or advice.
Also, thank you for the reply.
They were still a little moist when they arrived, Trich would not last long enough to be considered? And they were was limited handling, nothing near the genitals before microwaving.
Would my anxiety from thinking I have an STD relate to some of the problems I feel like I'm experiencing?
Welcome to the forum and thanks for an interesting question. This sort of "exposure" is a first for me.
I can confirm the replies you had on the community forum. Tthere was no STD risk, even if the previous user had an STD that explained her vaginal discharge. STD organisms would not be expected to survive two days, at least not in numbers that could support transmission. In addition, from the community forum I see you also microwaved the garment for 20 seconds, which surely would have sterilized it.
Your symptoms are not typical for urethrits, which rarely if ever causes "discomfort after uriniation and between urination with no discharge or pain during urination". That combination of symptoms is much more typical for genitally focused anxiety, not for any infection. You can expect the gonorrhea and chlamydia test results to be negative. (And if positive, it won't be from the panties.)
You really shouldn't worry further about STDs from this event. All is well.
