In despair - need a plan

Dear Dr. EWH or HHH, I feel that I got myself into a hopeless situation. Lately having a difficult time I went to massage parlors about 10 times. I received a handjob and fingered the vaginas of the (different) girls. Most of the time they penetrated me with a finger in my rectum (they did not touch themselves). I have read your archives and other sources but am still very worried because I did never check the fingers (or vaginas) of the girls. From what I have learned Hepatitis, Syphilis, Herpes or even HIV could be transmitted if one girl had an open cut or a sore in unlucky circumstances. So here my questions:

1) What is your analysis of my risks in this situation?
2) I think only testing can release my fears. Is 4 weeks enough time and which tests would you recommend?
3) My wife desperately wants a baby so we are having unprotected sex. Your thoughts?
4) Can you give me advice on how to go through the window period without a breakdown? (I know thats somewhat beyond the scope of this forum, but any thoughts are much appreciated)

I really hope that I did not annoy you with my questions, I knew nowhere else to turn to. My questions may seem silly, but my pain and despair is very real.

Frederick
(keep up this excellent important work)

No change in my opinion. Your exposures were not risk making the "window period" not a consideration.  Even if it were, the statistical chance of having  sex at such a time is miniscule.  Take care.  EWH

Thank you for your instant answer. My problem is the window period. Two of the exposures were last week. I fear that I would doubt the tests because I know about the wondow periods. Any more thoughts? This will be my last post, promise!

Thankful, Frederick

Welcome to our Forum.  As you already know, the chances of you getting an STD of any sort from the activities you describe are vanishingly low and not something we suggest our clients worry about.  My advice to you is the same.  While there is a theoretical possibility that one of your partners might have been infected and transmitted infection to you through the activities you describe it is very, very unlikely.  You can be tested for all of the infections you mention at this time and have complete confidence in the results.  They will be negative.

There is no reason for you to worry about unprotected sex with your wife related to the activities you describe.

Bottom line.  Get tested now, not because you need to be worried but so that you can gain peace of mind.  When you do get tested, commit to yourself that you will believe the results., They will be negative.  EWH
