There is no firm numercial answer to your question becasue the event is so rare. Please understand that becasue of the repetitive nature of such questions sometimes I use slightly different words to try to make the same point. While anxious clients worry that the different words have different meanings, this is not the case. Please do not worry. EWH
Thank you for your quick turnaround Dr.
My only concern at this time is that in a similar question you replied the following:"...for the person performing the act, there is a small risk of getting gonorrhea and herpes if they don't have it and their partner does..."
What would be my risk/odds of gonorrhea, herpes for such encounter of anilingus?
Thank you for your response and patience Dr., just want to make sure I understand your comments and thoughts.
Welcome to our Forum. The risk of acquiring any STI from analingus is very, very low and not something to worry about. The major risk from this practice is acquisition of one of the bacteria that can cause diarrhea. If you do not develop gastrointestinal problems, I would not worry about this exposure, or seek testing. If you develop diarrhea or severe abdominal pain, you may want to see your doctor. EWH
