oral sex

Hi, on dec 10 I had unprotected oral sex both given and recived to a woman who I met. About 3 days later i noticed some tingling and burning in the pubis region. 8 days after the incounter i got tested at Quest labs HIV,Hep b and c, chlamydia and gonorrhoeas, syphilis and herpes. All test were neg but my herpes came back + for HVS-2 . I have had some headaches and tenderness in my groain and testicals that come and goes. I also have had some pain in the upper lt abd that some time goes in to my back and down to my groain.
I started Valtrex in January and was re tested for chlamydia, gonorrhoeas and syphilis test all neg. At 6 weeks a nother HIV test was done that came back neg. I am still having some headeachs and now some mild itiching and burining on the belly and chest. Last week I had a sines infection and was treated with a azithromycin pack.
1. could I have oral gonorrhoeas or NGU and would the Z pack cover them.
2. Should I have a nother HIV test at 3 or 6 months.
3. Could I have a nother std and need futher testing

The exposure you describe was not only low risk but close to NO risk!.  I would not have even recommended testing.  Having been tested twice now you can be sure that you did not acquire gonorrhea, chlamydia, syphilis, hepatitis or HIV from the exposure.  As for the herpes, it is most likely that you have had this infection before your exposure and were just unaware of it, as is the case in about 9 of 10 people who have genital herpes.  You do not get HSV-2 from oral sex (in either direction).  As for your questions:

1.  Nothing you describe in any way resembles gonorrhea or NGU- no need for treatment.  Having received azithromycin, this would have certainly treated NGU and probably treated gonorrhea, if it had been present (which it was not).
2.  No, no need for further testing.  Take your six week test as a sure sign that you do not have HIV.
3.  No STD testing was warranted to start with and you've now had negative tests twice.  No further testing is needed.

As for your symptoms, these are not related to STD.  They may be a manifestation of some other process for which you need to see your regular health care provider or they could be a manifestation of anxiety--this would not be unusual.

Hope this helps.  EWH

Tiem to stop worrying about STDs.  This is not an STD.  See a health care provider and ask them for assistance for these problems which are not due to STD.  EWH

Dr Hook thank you for you response. I have a nother question. 2 days after finshing the z pack i started having the pain in the back again and frequent urnitation with some burning. The pain is now down to a dull buring in the back and  I now have some leaking and still have some sorness in the testicals. I went ot the dr yesterday and diped my urine and they sad it was neg. Should i get a oral gonorrhea test or do uoy think this may be NGU that need futher treatment. I am also having a CT scan to day to check for kindy stones. Thanks
