std symptoms

hello,

i have a very small black dot(about the size of a pin head) on my penis were the head connects to the shaft.  I was tested for all std's including an hiv test at 6 weeks after exposure and everything came back negative.  Im just wondering what this could be?  could it be an hiv symptom like kaposi sarcoma?  or could it be some kind of genital wart?  ive read that most genital warts are flesh colored and near the shaft or on the head of the penis....i also read that kaposi's sarcoma usually shoes up in advanced hiv...could it possibly show up as early as 7 weeks after exposure???  anyway, im freaking out about this and could use some advice.

thanks.

No.  KS is a late manifestation of HIV; it occurs only in overt AIDS, i.e. usually several years after acquiring HIV.  And only in gay men (you don't say the sex of your partners); KS is rare in others with AIDS.

The additional information doesn't change my advice.  See a health care provider.

I cannot make a diagnosis online and won't even try.  But your description doesn't sound particularly like Kaposi's sarcoma, and your negative HIV test rules out that possibility with 100% certainty.  The only way to get a diagnosis is to see a health care provider.  Don't try to get any useful information on line; there is no advice anybody can give you that will allow you to avoid getting examined.  If cost or cultural sensitivity is an issue, visit your local health department STD clinic for expert, confidential care.
