Leaving Limbo Land

I've only been here a short time, but I'm leaving Limbo Land and moving over to the MS Forum as my main home.  I have gone from Optic Neuritis with one periventricular lesion to ON and now TN wit several more lesions.  The last MRI showed damage to my right optic nerve and right optic tract, so vision in both of my eyes is now effected (1/2 of the left eyes vision goes down the right optic tract.)

Given that my living really requires my sight and maintaining my cognitive function, my partner and I talked with the neurologist and came to a group consensus that it is best to treat the increasing lesion count and multiple attacks as RRMS and start DMD therapy with Copaxone.  The risk vs. benefit vs. cost was pretty clear.

Thanks for the support during my time here.

Bob

dear bob,

it's always like this when someone leaves us--relief to have an answer combined with sorrow that you have MS.  even so, i am confident that your early treatment and good attitude will certainly serve you in excellent stead.

i have read through your journal entry, as well as many of your posts over on the MS forum, and i know any and all members of that group will certainly benefit from your wisdom, knowledge and clarity about the disease.

please do check in from time to time.  we like to live vicariously through others successes!

blessings to you,
binx
