checking in

Hi everyone.  I'm sorry I haven't been around.  I have gotten your letters and emails.  I am not doing well right now.  I am losing the use of my right hand/arm and am finding it almost impossible to type.  I haven't been even coming around to read much here lately either, as it makes me sad that I can't respond.  It is very difficult for me to even type this.

I hope everyone is well and I think of you all sooooo much/often!!!!  Please know that I will be back as soon as I can.  And again, thank you sooooooooooooo much to all of you who have written me.  I am okay, but am really struggling with losing the use of my arm.  Hopefully it'll come back, but I'm not holding my breath as the use of my foot never came back.

Take care and sending you all huge bear hugs and kisses and love!
Sarah

Sarah, I'm sorry to hear about the loss of use in your right arm. As has already been mentioned, you were missed. I will be hoping and praying that this is only temporary.

In addition to the on screen keyboard that Maria mentioned, there are some good voice to text programs these days. I mostly use the free one from Google on my tablet and cell phone, but there are some good ones for PC as well.

Will keep you in my prayers. Take care and hope to see you back here soon.

Hugs,

Laura

I am glad to hear from you but very sorry to hear that you are feeling worse.

I have seen a few studies going on for treatment of PPMS. I would be pretty concerned w/ being in on the testing phase, but might do it given the right circumstances. Have you checked in to any of them?

I hope you and your doctors can figure out some way to lessen the impact this is having on you!

Honey it is so good to hear from you.  We were so worried but I had a feeling you were in some kind of flare.  Listen to Barb - call the Dr and maybe IVSM will help!

We are here and saying our prayers for you

Love and great big hugs

Oh Sarah... hey!! I had a sixth sense something was not settle well with you. You tend to withdraw when struggling....and I worry.

One girl with MS to another - try not to associate a relapse with permanent life long damage. I know we have a different "type" of MS but we both have had things progress slowly... and some other sx that have improved even if it's minimal.

I think you should call the doctor. It sort of sounds like you are in a flare to me where MAYbe some IVSM would benefit you. I am not sure if you have tried them but it may be worth it. PLEASE consider alternatives for your mental health and slowing overall progression. PLEASE.

I am saying prayers for your His words to guide you to his Will.

XOXO

Oh Sarah so glad you came on. Been really worried about you.

Did you know if you are using Windows that there is an application called an on screen keyboard you could use?

Its in accessories/Ease of Access on Windows 7, but in accessories in most others.

With a comment message open. Go to ACCESSORIES/Ease of Access/and click on the on screen keyboard.  I am typing this with it lol. all you need is one hand please try it. It is quite good fun lol.

Not many people know it is there but i showed a lady who had a stroke and she uses it all the time now. Dont give up communicating you need the support.

Big hugs. Lov Mariaxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
