Schizophrenic versus questionable medicine induced delusions
I have a friend who's going through a divorce never been diagnosed with paranoid schizophrenia since the divorce she has displayed signs of extreme paranoia to the point where she thinks people are on her roof with cameras with laser lights burning her retinas stalking her. I also know that she medicates herself with the drug Neurontin and has for some time above the recommended dosage. Is there any way that the Neurontin could cause her hallucinations and thoughts and thinking to be as they are which I feel and believe is paranoid schizophrenia?
that med is used for chronic pain epilepsy TBI mood stabilizer and diabetic foot pain. i've been taking it for 11 years now don't mix pills with alcohol and illegal drugs her hallucinations visual are kinda rare most hear voices like me my voices have conversation with each other hope this helps :)
