If a woman is pregnant, then she does not have a period. A woman can bleed during pregnancy and some will mistake this for an actual period, but it is not a true period. If a woman suspects that she is pregnant, she needs to take a pregnancy test, either at home or at her doctor's office.

that is not always true. You can miss peroids and not be pregnant and have periods if you are. If you think you may be pregnant call your dr. There are time when women are on the pill miss a day or two or are on antibiotics and get pregnant during that time but when your at the end of the pack you will still have a period because of how the hormones work from the pill.
