What is this? Anal sex gone bad.

Hi all. I am not sure what forum to put this question in. My sincerest apologies if this is inappropriate for this forum.

My girlfriend suffered an injury from anal sex about a year and a half ago. Her ex had piercings on his penis and it tore her anus. She now has what looks like extra skin covering the entire anus. It doesn't hurt her and has no feeling to it. She still enjoys anal sex but can't really feel anything when she is being rimmed.

Does anyone have any idea what this may be? Scar tissue?

Thank you all very much.
