Condom help

What kind of condoms are the best!? I am 18 and I am ready to have sex with my boyfriend of 1.5 years, but we don't know what kind of condoms to get because we are both virgins. We don't want flavored though. Suggestions?

Hi Lovely, Had a thought, if you google dodson and ross there is a section called birth control and condoms, I think this will cover all you will ever need to know about the both, and the site is full of other information on sex, think of it having all the answers to all the questions that you may have been afraid to ask, there, there all in one place.
Enjoy.

There are a lot of choices, and while some people have individual preferences, they all work well when used properly.  A lot of them come with spermicidal lubricant, which can be irritating to some people, but it's nice to have a little lube already there.  Extra lube is always good though, and I recommend that you buy some.  Do not use flavored lube for intercourse, since it often has sugar, which can trigger a yeast infection.  I like the durex condoms, but it's really a matter of personal taste.  Some brands have sampler packs of different textures, colors, and lubricants that you might want to try.

Birth control pills are something to consider, but you should use condoms either way to protect you from infections (and you don't always know if you have something that can be passed sexually).  I use my birth control as a backup, and condoms as my primary means of not getting pregnant.

Hi Loverly, So condoms, well you can either have latex or latex free, coloured ones, some that give the women some think extra like ribbed, you don't really need flavoured ones.
But for you have you given much thought to the pill for BC, a much safer way for a girl just starting out on her sex life, the last thing you both don't need is a baby.
Do hope this helps you.
