Hematospermia

Good day. I'm a 23 year old male. I started with hematospermia about 4 days ago. I first noticied it while masturbating in the shower. I have had 3 ejaculations with this problem. The only unusual activity I had prior that week was being masturbated by my girlfriend every night, she sometimes does it a little rough, I don't know if that may be a cause. After these ejaculations I have pain on the penean body and pelvis in the pubic hair region. No other symptoms associated, not disuria nor hematuria. Just today I started drinking heavy amounts of fluid and naproxen sodium 550 mg. I attach a photo of the last ejaculation on the toilet bowl. It started clean the first spurt and the following was stained. I hope you can help me. Thanks.

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hello,
Blood in semen is called hematospermia. It can occur due to many conditions such as infections, swellings (inflammations), cysts, stones & other obstructive lesions, and benign or non-benign tumors of the organs of the genitourinary system (involving the bladder, urethra, the testicles, the seminal vesicles, the epididymis, the prostate gland etc). Investigations include blood tests, routine & culture tests of urine & semen, ultrasound & MRI scans of genitourinary system, and histopathological tests (FNAC, biopsy etc).

It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your doctor. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.

Hello,
There are many reasons that could lead to hematospermia which usually associate with the urethra or the prostate. I would suggest you to visit a specialist doctor (andrologist, urologist)

Take care
