My boyfriend can't reach climax!

Hi there,

My boyfriend is taking an anti depressant medication and it is doing its job in regards to his depression issues. However, although he can now hold an erection for more than 2 hours he just can not ejaculate. We have had sex 5 nights in a row and at least 3 times a night, and he ends up just giving up after about 2 hours.

We know that this is a side effect of the medication but is there anything that we can do?

Thank you!

Is he getting any numbness? I have had trouble getting through orgasm without numbness setting in during erection. You said 2 hours , well I would get so numb after 30 minutes that it was just time to stop for the day and try later. If he is getting nubness it is possible that he is actually having priapism and thinks he is just okay but he is not aware that his penis is suffering. Priapism is like strangulation internally in a penis. If he has no numbness than be sure that his erection dissipates when he is not being stimulated directly or mentally. Whatever the details are you've said enough to justify getting him to a urologist or neurologist ASAP.
