I have a normal arousal pattern but sometimes if I get very aroused my hearts starts beating very quickly and I break out in a big sweat.  This invariably leads to a loss of erection and a need for a shower.  The symptoms almost feel like a panic attack but they feel physical not mental.  Could this be related to my endocrine system or is it all in my head.

Also if it helps my legs often go into some form of spasm as I approach orgasm.  Sometimes when my legs are shaking I can push through and orgasm, other times I blow a gasket as described above! As an experiment I tried the same type of arousal after taking a beta blocker and the problem didn't arise.

I lose my erection before I ejaculate due to the panic attack type symptoms I get.  It has been happening on and off for several years now but it is annoying as it is linked to when I am most aroused.

So do you lose your erection after you ejaculate   from the big sweat and heart racing issues . .. if so-- sounds normal when you get to the point of ejaculation from a climax..

In sexual arousal mental complainant is always associated. You may try a forceful exhalation, compressing your abdomen and let inhalation  be automatic. Take 6 or 7 breaths. It is likely that you may calm down sexually. However, consulting doctor in such a case is safer as suggested by remar.Usually slow and deep abdominal breathing brings down all types of emotions. Does your Dr say you're healthy? If so, this can be completely normal. If this is something new and you have'nt seen your Dr I recommend you do that, just to be safe.
