Reddish Penis in Dry Masturbation

I've been wondering why my penis might be red around the "head" for more than a year now. I'm uncircumcised and a teenager (16 yr old).
I've been dry masturbating since 8th grade, and I supposedly rubbed in alot on the "head" of the penis. Now since last year, I started to get my penis skin red, and sometimes see splits, (rarely now) but I'm very anxious of what this skin disorder might be. I appreciate any advice or suggestion to my problems. Thanks.

Redness and irritation from friction can come from rubbing it too much, but splits in the skin might be a sign of a fungal infection. Have a doctor take a look at it, and he might just prescribe some sort of medicated ointment to clear it up.
