Severe pain after orgasm

I am 38 years old. I have never been pregnant. On the Nuva Ring for 2 years. About 3 years ago I started having these "episodes" after an orgasm. I was not on any birth control at the time or for 10 years prior to these events happening. I feel intense cramping and the need to have a bowel movement. It can last up to 30 minutes sometimes. Cramping, sweating, a bowel movement or a few and then relief. It is exhausting and very painful. I have started to assume it is all more likely when I am less hydrated.... Is there any other advice or insight out there?

Hi Lisa, OK have just done a little reaserch, and yes Nuvaring could be the reason for your ongoing cramps or cramping, if you google Nuvaring bad cramping 2 years, you will find your not the only one, and if you go down somebody is doing a survey on Nuvaring, so you can add to it if you fill that way.
Hope this helps.
Good Luck
