Ingrown hairs...

I shave, brazillian style, about once a week and a lot of times I will get painful little bumps afterwards.  My gyno told me they are ingrown hairs once.  Does anyone have any advice on what to do to prevent this?  I use the blue gel (from walmart) for bikini shaving to prevent bumps and I use nice razors.

Okay...I feel stupid. You said you shave brazilian style. I am in my 40's I shave downstairs (that's a cute one) regularly. What is brazilian style? Just "clean shaven"
down there? did not know there was different names for shaving. Again feel stupid. lol...

Go to a beauty supplies store like Sally's, I was in there the other day wandering around and i saw specifically Brazilian shaving gel, I think it was around $5 or $6 not too pricey, i would say give it a shot. I use that blue stuff too and it has worked well for me.. try the stuff at sally's though.
