Truth about Masturbation

I realise that this is not a question but there are a lot of mistruths about masturbation that are propagated. i wanted to help by pointing people to this website: http://herballove.com/
Check out what they have to say about over-masturbation.

it's unfortunate that few people know about the life harming effects of overmasturbation. i also wanted to let people know that there is no such thing as blue balls if people remain totally celibate (including not masturbating). Just find some healthy way to sublimate that energy and you'll be fine.

if you're trying to reduce frequency or stop entirely I recommend baby steps, take it one day at a time and set small achievable goals. eg. no masturbation this week. than once you've gotten a hang of that, no masturbation for 2 weeks... and so on just keep increasing the goal.
Also, when sexual urge is too strong use cold showers, exercise, go for a walk, read scripture and pray, do anything to get your mind off it.
sexual urge increases once you stop, but if you ignore it it will go down. the first 2 weeks are the hardest. after that it'll be like normal but there are still occasional bouts of horniness, which is normal and certainly not unhealthy.
remember, that whatever you see or hear is food for the mind. so avoid anything that might feed that arousal.

good luck.
