Masturbated yesterday. Today a tingling at tip of penis. related?

Yesterday I masturbated. Today I have this weird tingling at the tip of my penis almost like I have to urinate.

This has happened, only a few times, before. I remember it going away fairly quick. This time it's went on all day.

What causes this?

One of the side effect of zoloft is parasthesia which is sensation of tingling or pinpricks. Usually side effects are felt in extremities.It can be nerve related also. If tingling persists, this possibility may be explored.There are many causative factor for parasthesia including diabetics, iron deficiency and side effects of drugs.

I see. That makes sense about the Zoloft. We never know what possible side effects we may get from any medication. You could have irritation from excessive urination. How long have you been off the Zoloft? It can take awhile to get completely out of your system.

Thanks for reply. Went last week to doctor. I was on Zoloft for 2 weeks and had some urinary side effects (excessive urinating).

He checked for UTI and it was negative.  Checked my prostate and it was normal size. Did blood work to check for PSA, to cover all bases. Will find out about that today or tomorrow.

I have suffered from Anxiety for a very very long time and never took medication until recently. (Main side effect that I couldn't stand was lack of appetite)

I'm starting to think a lot of this is Anxiety related. Opinion?

It sounds like a possible urinary tract infection. If you have any burning during urination or start urinating more see your Dr. Of course this may not be the problem at all and it could be a little irritation from masturbation. Just keep an eye on things.
