Vaginal Burning No discharge

The day after masturbating I developed a vaginal burning (feel like a slight heat between my legs) with no discharge. I am not sexually active and haven't been for over a year. I have been tested for STDs and all negative and also did a pap smear which was normal.

Could this be a yeast infection? Currently self treating with monistat 3.

Very weird feeling between my legs more annoying.

ie I have PCOS and I have regular periods

I am going as soon I am done with this monistat if I see no change. I might go just to make sure.
