abdominal pain

My period ended yesterday, and my boyfriend and I had sex last night, we are in a monogamous relationship and live together. However in the middle of the night probably around one or two a.m., I had pain in my abdominal area, apparently i was moaning in pain while I was sleeping before I woke up because he was already rubbing my stomach. I'm frequently sick(colds, sinus infections, once in a blue I'll have a stomach bug) and I get cysts every now and again its not too common for me, but it wasn't severe as ovarian cysts, it was still very painful.
It was similar to a time I woke up in the middle of the night from severe lower abdominal pain but when it went away I fell back to sleep, it came back about an hour later but this time when I sat up I vomited, I fell back to sleep after but again a couple hours later the pain was back, but this time I had diarrhea.
Last night, though I didn't get up at all its almost like it hurt too much to move so my boyfriend just rubbed my stomach til I fell asleep. When he left for work this morning, the pain persisted, but I'm just not sure what it is. My theory is gas or ovarian cysts, can someone give me their opinion please?

Thanks.

I don't think sex will be the culprit if it isn't something you've experienced paired with sex before, I would point it to the period. Especially if you say you're feeling better now. Perhaps sex just aggravated it? If your period ended a day ago maybe your abdominals are still tight. Even when I don't have cramps my abdominals are generally tighter around my period not always before. But as I said if its not something you've experienced before, see if it gets better. If you have sex again and it happens, well then you know sex is the culprit.

Lol I usually eat a lot, but lately I just havent had much if an appetite, I think It's mostly because of stress.

And won't cramps fone before my period? I just weren't with gas lol I feel better now but it may come back when I go to sleep.

I was just worriedcthat sex may be the culprit.

I find that around my period my abdominals tighten up and I can't do exercise without getting diahorrea, it causes me a lot of pain and discomfort. Maybe this is similar. I think that because your abdominals are tightening up it may affect digestion.  This is just from what I've experienced. It may be a combination of what I've said and cramps perhaps?

Hm.  Well, that certainly isn't much to eat.  I feel like making you a sandwich!!  LOL  I would guess it is gas unless it worsens or continues.  Then go to the doctor to make sure.

Also, if you are sick often and have a tiny appetite --  you might not be getting a lot of nutrition.  Take a multi vitamin and make every bit of food you eat count to keep you healthy (meaning make it healthy).

good luck

Soup and strawberry filled cookies. Lol I think that's about it, I don't eat very often, my appetite isn't very big. And I really only drink water or juice, I try not to drink soda. But I do drink it every now and then.

Oh, and if the pain worsens, I'd be seen by your doctor.  Appendix?

I'm going to guess gas.  I've had some abdominal pains that were really horrible from this.  What did you eat yesterday?
