heavy bleeding and cramps 2 days after sex...extremely worried!!!

Hi everyone, I am a 28 yr old female. I had a surgical abortion for pregnancy complications about 4 1/2 months ago. I have not had sex for 6 months. Just two days ago, on Christmas day, i had sex with someone (protected). it hurt a little at first but then it was fine. Immediately after, he noticed that i had quite a bit of blood and immediately went and got cleaned up. I just had very light spotting after that until this morning when i woke up and my underwear was drenched in blood. Now i have heavy bleeding like a very heavy period and some light cramping. Im not supposed to get my period for another two weeks ut it feels like a bad period right now.

Im really freaking out because i do not know if i just got my period or if im bleeding for other reasons. I cant afford to go to a Dr for about a week and am very scared It not enough blood to be dying but it is pretty damn heavy.

Had anyone experienced this before?? ANy advice would be greatly appreciated!!  Thank you

It sounds like either your period started early or there was not enough lubrication during intercourse. If there was not, it can cause small tears which can bleed.
