My Clitoris

Can a doctor tell by examination if a woman masturbates.? Is the clitoris different for women who masturbate than for those who don't?

Hello.

Of course your clitoris doesn't change with self-pleasuring--and no one can tell whether you engage in same. Most physicians are trained to be sensitive to the diversity of sexuality, so this shouldn't worry you. I think you'd be helped by some accurate information about your sexuality.I highly recommend the book, "For Yourself: the Fulfillment of Female Sexuality," by Lonnie Barbach, Ph.D., widely available online, both used and in paperback. Truth be known, almost everyone masturbates!  I would think that the exceptions might be in deeply religious people who experience too much guilt to do it.  And some people are raised to beleive that masturbation is wrong.  I think that is sad because God did NOT give us toys he didn't want us to play with. LOL

I wasn't sure if most women now owned up to the fact that they did spend time on self pleasure. I SUSPECT most Docs do it as well!

No, to both questions.  Don't worry, masturbation is normal anyway, and doctors DO know that. :)
