Is there a Question how?

hpv

Been in a relationship for 14 years. Had normal paps annually for that period of time. After 3 children, youngest of 7 years, had an abnormal pap? O.B. stated i have H.P.V. first time i heard about it.   HOW???  I understand it can sit dormant, how long, if so what makes it active?   Yes,  i have only been with the one person!  From what i am reading the virus last 6-9 months is that the truth?

I had HPV too. the doctor told me not to stress over it either. it will go away soon. its not like HIV so don't get over your head about it.  But if it does get worse then thats when you get nervous about it. because I know some one who had there female organ taken out .

I also have HPV. I had a normal pap for years and then it just showed up. The man carries it, question: Do you have the strain that may cause cancer? You should not worry about the HPV itself. Focus on eating healthy, staying away from major stressors and not smoking. You should try to keep yourself healthy to reduce your risk of devolping cancer. Mine cleared up after I gave birth to my daughter and did not return until she was 2. It will come and go, but as long as you do everything your doctor tells you to, you will be fine. Just keep an eye on it.
