Sense of smell

Recently I noticed my food wasn't tasting the same.  I can smell things under my nose but when I eat, I can't smell what I'm eating.  I was diagnosed with a bacterial sinus infection.  I took two courses of antibiotics and my doctor says the infection is gone.  However, I stil can't smell what I'm eating.  I can breath through my nose OO but it's still is a little stuffy.  Why can't I smell what I'm eating?  It's very frustrating.  I have been diagnosed with a B12 deficiency and I took shots for that in May.  Will this improve?
