Should I be worried about itchy tingly back after bad sun burn months ago?

Hey Guys,

I am living in australia 31 year old Irish male, pale skin, freckle easily.

So I fell asleep under a tree 10 months ago and woke up to find I wasn't in the shade anymore. I got extremely badly burnt on my back and legs, 3rd degree burn bad.

I never had any freckles on my back because I always stayed away from sun on my milky skin but after the burn my back is covered completely covered.

So it's 10 months later and my skin feels tender. If I sit in a seat and rub my back off the back rest it tingles and lightly stings like pins and needles or as if I had pine needles stuck in my t-shirt.

Do you guys think this could be related and should I get it checked out?

Thanks alot

Regards,
Gordon.

You need to see a dermatologist immediately! It could be one symptom of malignant melanoma which Australia has in the largest number of people. It could also be this weird & spreading skin bacteria that is easily treated but will spread everywhere if untreated.

Irish, Welsh, Aussie, English, any fair haired, pale skinned, green or blue eyed, people get melanoma the easiest & most often. Altho now with damaged ozone even Italian & African heritages are showing rising numbers of melanoma cases.
